First track done with my new Moog Rogue. For the low end. Nice.

Aveeno
Aveeno 2017
Four tracks, three of them new, across 15 spots. This first one, “All About The Melody” is probably my favorite ‘Aveeno’ track in the three years that I’ve been doing the campaign.
And “Ace Riddem”. The secret to Jens sound is a slight Jamaican late 60’s early 70’s reggae sound. Think Jimmy Cliff.
“Aveeno 11” A track that didn’t get used from last year, but finally found a home. Possibly my second favorite ‘Aveeno’ track, but I still prefer my simplified version of, but hey, whatever works.
And “Aveeno 08”. Again. Yay.
Revlon
Track 7 of 13. Beat out dozens of tracks from three agencies. 7 spots, domestic and international. Vocals from Kitty.
Some voyages never end, but, with much experience, skill and brutality, this ship was brought to harbor, laden with Spanish silver and gold. Looted in the name of the King. Dozens of settlements sacked and seventy galleons lay battered and broken on the sea floor. Protecting the Americas is lucrative business. To the victor go the spoils. My trial, merely a final call to end privateering was a farce, designed to appease the Spanish. I will see out my days as Governor of Jamaica. Who am I?
Old Navy Spot
This beat out 37 tracks. Me n Rei doodling in the studio. Those drums are one mic, loads of distortion and one take. And Rei is a first class bass player.

Another Aveeno
For summer 2016. After much deliberation, a cover of last years track.
“The Sound of Tubes” nearly made it, and probably didn’t because I strove hard to maintain the integrity of the sound of the pre amp I used to record it. A reel to reel recorder from 1956. Yeh, not a great idea to get something past corporate, but hey, the pre amp just sounds too good. And Old Man Winter, my upright piano, sounds like a champ, too.

Check The (Fuckin) Flow – Amateur Night
This also just found a home in Amateur Night, movie. My friend Alicia Angeles on the vocal mic. I did offer to do a ‘clean’ version of this, and also to give it a clean title, because, after all it is an Ashley Tisdale movie. I’ve written music for her before and she’s covered a couple of my tracks, and her fanbase are all minors. No dice, though. Well, maybe they’re going to use a bit of the track that has no cussing. If they can find two seconds that has no cussing in it, that is. Still, nice placement. Thanks Andy.
